Eric and Chantelle, Jarrett and Jeannie, mission trip

Hey all, haven't checked in for a while.

I found an old email from Chantelle and just emailed her to see if they still have that address. It came back bounced so I'm not sure how to find them.

The last I heard, they were on some house-show on HGTV or something (Trading Spaces maybe?) - I never saw the show but I heard rumors that Jackie may have taped it.

I just found a page that mentions them and thought I'd put it up for anyone else who is trying to look them up: Link

I know Eric was studying to be a chiropractor and I just found an office with his last name, which I called and left a message - so we'll see if he gets back to me.

Nancy and I went to the National Pastors Convention in San Diego earlier this year and we ran into Jarrett and Jeannie. They were both speakers at some of the breakouts and luncheons. It was cool to run into them, although we didn't get to spend any time hanging out. They live in Georgia now and Jarrett is teaching at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. You can watch him teach by looking for his name here.

In other news, Nancy and I will be joining Paul and Kathy this summer for a Mexico mission trip. If anyone else is interested in going I think you may still be able to sign up, but you would need to check with Kathy.

Love to you all.

UPDATE: I talked with Eric! He called me back from his office and we caught up a little. He and Chantelle are in the process of adopting a little girl named Bianca. You can see pics at their website!

More interns

Hello all you intern-folk. Shane/Carl's post has reminded me that there are a number of other interns that I have completely lost track of.

If you know of another intern from 'the day' that isn't listed along the side of this blog, let me know and I'll send them an invite. Also, I have a number of open invitations that have never been accepted (Jill, Kathy, etc., ahem...)

Also, some of the links are out of date, so anyone who knows where Darin is posting please let me know. I'll try to track down Brian's correct address.

Let me know how all of you are.

"Reunited and it feels so good . . ."

Hey guys,

This is Carl von Hollen from Germany (WCA intern from '98). Shane and I are hanging out in Ireland for ten days. I didn't know about the blog and I'm exited to see all of you on the posted pictures.

After graduating from seminary in 2002, I sensed God's plan was for me to study acting in Berlin. I gave it a go and now I'm an theologian and an actor. I'm excited to see what God will be up to the next few years. I've had a great time with our fellow bro Tucker - talking about arts, faith and good old willow-days.

I would love to hear from you.

3 things

Well you know I just think. Hey we all have our own blogs so it is hard to keep with that let alone this.

I just wanted to send a shout out and if anyone is out there...there is much love for you. Perhaps we can just post a comment on this update to say the top 3 things that are going on in their lives right now.

Where the posts at??

Okay, so I know I haven't been posting here much, but neither have any of you! Where is everyone and what are you all up to these days? We are thriving in a very sunny, hot spell here in the Emerald Isle that reminds me of A-M-E-R-I-C-A! Anyone have any plans to travel to Europe this year? We'd love to have you! Eight people have stayed over so far the past four months . . . we could take more . . . Much love to you all!

ps - just found out yesterday about an old article that has been picked up at The Porpoise-Diving Life under 'Full Breach' re-entitled 'Meant for More'. I'm just pushing buttons and hittin' switches to see what happens. Missing you all. Been WAY TOO LONG!

Shane

Intern get-together 2003

Who is the chunky, hairy guy in back?

This was at a Hotel/Resort place in Wheaton, IL - Kathy was around, too - I think she ran home for a while which is why she's not in this shot.

This was taken after the multiple fireworks displays we watched in 2004. We're on top of a tall building in Chicago.

What an unbelievable night. Posted by Picasa

I must have said something inappropriate

Just some smiles

I was just digging around for some smiles and thought I'd share a few.

Be sure to read the previous few posts, I don't want them to get buried.

This was taken July 4, 2004 at Jill's apartment at North Park University in Chicago.

Hello again friends!

Ok, the posting has not been working for awhile and I did not realize it. To make up for that, here is a video of Jill, Eve, Aimee and me at the Taste of Chicago.

Be sure to read down the rest of this intern page and see what has been missed recently. Everything should be fixed and working now. Sorry again for the trouble.

Humor from back in the day...

Hey all - so Brians last comment plus some things Isaiah wrote elsewhere inspired me to collect some general Willow and intern/staff humor and memories... Really most of the are from the intern days. Instead of posting the long list here I'll just link to my blog entry...

To be amused... very amused... here's the post...

Also... add anything you can think of...
