a dark month
I just got off the phone with Karl, who pointed me to this news article.
Tim Buras was a High School student when I was on staff at Willow Creek. He was a terrific young man, a lot of fun, well respected among his peers and looked up to by younger students.
What a tragedy. I find myself saying that too often these days. My prayers are with his family and friends.

I found your page and wanted to say that I am completely heart broken over Tim's death, he was my closest student and an amazing follower of Jesus. I am praying too!
John- I google searched my cousins name, and found your page. I thought I would leave a comment.....
It is always sad to lose a family member, even more sad when it is someone you have known your whole life, and grown up with through the years. Tim never wanted the recoginition for serving- he just wanted to serve- but it is hard not to be recognized when you are such an extrodinary person!!!
Anyone who knew Tim was given a gift! What an awesome person!
