Changing Seasons

This past weekend, Mark and Jackie came up to Fort Collins and we went to Roosevelt National Forest to get some photos of the Aspen changing colors. I try and go every year because the color change is so dramatic and it only lasts a week or so. We had a great time.

You may have read Jackie's comment on my previous post about Jax. I wanted to take Mark and Jackie by Jax if we had the chance. It turned out that we did have the chance, and it just so happened that is was Jax' 50th anniversary weekend. They had an assortment of free activities for the kids and us adults. Mark and I shot paintball guns, the kids jumped on inflatable amusement rides, we had free Ben and Jerry's ice cream and we had a little lunch at the Boy Scout BBQ.

It was so great to spend some good time with such great friends.
